10K Subscribers - Thank You + Course Giveaway
Apr 23, 202610,000 Subscribers — A Thank You, and a Giveaway
If you've been watching the channel for a while, you may have noticed something recently — the subscriber count just crossed 10,000. That's a number I honestly wasn't sure I'd ever reach when I first started posting, and I wanted to take a moment to say a genuine, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has watched, commented, and kept coming back.
In this post, I'm doing something a little different. Instead of a tutorial, I wanted to share a bit of the story behind the channel, talk about why I've kept going, and celebrate this milestone by giving something back. I'm running a giveaway of my flagship course, Logic Pro: The Musician's Guide — more on that below.
How the Channel Started
It was 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and like a lot of musicians I found myself with nowhere to perform. The live venues had shut down, the gigs had disappeared, and I had a lot more time on my hands than usual. I'd been spending more time in my home studio, and around the same time I started doing live streams with my good friend and collaborator Jimmy Baldwin.
While I was doing my own streams, I was also watching a lot of other musicians do theirs. And one thing I kept noticing was how many people were simply pointing their phone camera at themselves and using the built-in microphone. The content was great, but the audio quality was making it harder to enjoy. That gap is what prompted me to start making tutorial videos — specifically, how musicians could use their home studios to get a much better sounding live stream without spending a fortune or getting lost in tech.
That's really where it all began. From there, the channel started to grow into something bigger: full Logic Pro tutorials, recording and mixing guides, plugin breakdowns, gear recommendations, and more. Logic Pro and music production are genuinely what I'm passionate about, so the shift felt natural.
Why I've Kept Going
Five to six years is a long time to keep creating content, especially as a one-person operation. And honestly, the main reason I've kept at it is the comments. Not the metrics, not the algorithm — the comments. Hearing from people that a video helped them finally understand gain staging, or that they finished their first recording session because of a tutorial, or that they feel less intimidated by Logic Pro than they did a year ago. That kind of feedback means everything.
I'll be the first to admit I'm not the flashiest YouTube presence out there. I'm not doing crazy edits or showing off wild production tricks. But people have told me that's exactly why they watch. The goal has always been to explain things as clearly and simply as possible, without overcomplicating it or making it feel like you need a degree in audio engineering to follow along. If that style of teaching works for you, then I'm truly glad you found the channel.
The Giveaway — Logic Pro: The Musician's Guide
As a thank you for reaching this milestone, I'm giving away one full enrollment in Logic Pro: The Musician's Guide. This is my flagship course and it covers everything from getting set up in Logic Pro for the first time, all the way through to recording real instruments, building an arrangement, mixing, and mastering a finished song.
To enter, just follow the link in the video description. All you need to do is enter your name and email address. The contest runs for two weeks, and I'll contact the winner directly by email once it closes.
What's Inside Logic Pro: The Musician's Guide
For those of you who aren't familiar with the course, here's a quick overview of what's inside and why I built it the way I did.
The course is designed for beginner to intermediate Logic Pro users — so whether you've never opened the software before or you've been dabbling for a while and still feel like you're not getting the most out of it, it's built with you in mind. The whole thing follows a single song from start to finish, which is intentional. Rather than jumping between disconnected tips and techniques, you're always working toward something real.
Here's how it's structured:
Module 1 — Setup and Interface
We start at the very beginning. Getting Logic configured, understanding the layout, and making sure you know where everything lives before we dive in. A lot of people skip this step and end up confused later. We don't skip it here.
Module 2 — Pre-Production
Before you record anything, we put together a rough demo so we have a clear picture of the song we're building. This module starts with a simple piano and vocal arrangement, which gives us a reference point for everything that comes after.
Module 3 — Recording
This is where we bring in real instruments — guitar, bass, and vocals. I walk you through how to set up your signal chain, what to listen for when you're tracking, and how to capture clean, usable recordings in a home studio environment.
Module 4 — Editing
Once the recordings are in, we clean them up. Timing, tuning, arrangement edits — all of it covered in a practical, straightforward way.
Module 5 — Mixing
We build a full mix using Logic's built-in tools. EQ, compression, reverb, delay, panning, and automation. The goal isn't to make you a mixing engineer overnight — it's to give you a repeatable process you can come back to on every project.
Module 6 — Mastering
The final step. We prepare the track for streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music so it translates well across different speakers and listening environments.
By the end of the course, you'll have followed a real song all the way from a rough demo to a polished, release-ready track. And you'll have a workflow you can actually repeat.

Thank You — Genuinely
I know this isn't the usual tutorial, but I really did want to take a moment to say this properly. Ten thousand subscribers is not a number I take for granted. Every single one of those represents a real person who decided to spend their time watching these videos, and that means a lot to me.
If you've been watching for a while, thank you for sticking around. If you're new here, welcome — I hope you find what you're looking for.
